How to install the hardware shortcuts
Apple doesn't let Safari touch hardware (LED, brightness, alarms, music). Shortcuts CAN. Make these once — name them exactly as shown — and the tiles above will fire them.
  1. Open the Shortcuts app
  2. Tap +, then Add Action
  3. Pick the action below for each shortcut, name it exactly

Required actions per shortcut:

  • Toggle Flashlight — Set Flashlight → Toggle
  • Take Photo — Take Photo (Rear, no preview)
  • Selfie — Take Photo (Front, no preview)
  • Battery — Get Battery Level → Speak Text
  • Brightness 50 — Set Brightness → 50%
  • Volume 50 — Set Volume → 50%
  • Focus Work — Set Focus → Work, On
  • Lights Off — Control Home → All lights off (needs HomeKit)
  • Timer 5 — Start Timer → 5 minutes
  • Alarm 7 — Create Alarm → 7:00 AM, daily
  • Play Focus — Play Music → pick playlist "Focus"
  • Pause — Pause Music
  • Say — Take input "Text" → Speak Text (uses input)

Tap a shortcut tile above. iOS asks "Run Shortcut?" the first time — tap Allow. After that it runs silently.
